Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS)

The CMS brings together the range states of species and facilitates internationally coordinated conservation measures throughout a species’ migratory range and across many countries. The Secretariat of CMS plays a critical advisory role throughout the project and is responsible for policy uptake at the national and regional level, liaising with relevant development cooperation partners. It also supports activities related to analysing the vulnerability of migratory flagship species to climate change and communication and outreach activities.
