Ilbirs Foundation
The Ilbirs Foundation pursues the goals of protecting wildlife (including snow leopards), conducting scientific research, and carrying out educational and outreach activities in Kyrgyzstan. They also work on linking human livelihoods and conservation. The Ilbirs Foundation is responsible for the development of local conservancies in the pilot sites, and monitor the vulnerability of flagship mountain species, their habitats, and associated ecosystem services to climate change.
