This Joint Statement of Intent was adopted by participants of the CAMCA regional conference held in Bishkek in October 2025. It formalises a shared vision and political commitment to strengthen climate-resilient conservation and sustainable development across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, building on the results of the CAMCA project.

The statement outlines four priority thematic areas, protected area resilience, climate-smart ecological corridors, community resilience and adaptation, and climate-smart grazing management. It is accompanied by an implementation annex that translates these commitments into concrete actions across policy integration, on-the-ground implementation, capacity building, education, and communication, providing a framework for continued national and transboundary cooperation.
